Website and project scope
These terms concern use of jatayuos.in and its informational resources. JatayuOS is an independent project maintained by Anup Yadav. Reading the website is free and does not require an account. Software use, copying and redistribution are governed by the applicable software licences, not by a blanket restriction in these website terms.
Acceptable use
Use the website lawfully. Do not attempt unauthorised access, disrupt its operation, distribute malicious material through project contact channels, or misuse another person’s personal information. When reporting problems, share only material you have the right to provide.
Content and intellectual property
Website text, documentation, screenshots, branding and software may have different licence terms. Follow the notices attached to the particular material. Do not assume a software licence also grants rights to project logos, artwork or third-party material. Statutory exceptions and rights granted under an applicable open-source licence remain unaffected. See Credits & Licences.
Downloads and installation
Use the official download information and verify the published checksum before installing. Back up your files and review disk changes carefully. Installation and partitioning can erase data. Hardware support, third-party application compatibility and external-service availability vary. Release dates and features may change; check the current release details.
External links and support
Third-party websites and software operate under their own terms. A link does not make JatayuOS responsible for their services or imply endorsement. Support is provided by an independent project without a guaranteed response time or service-level commitment unless separately agreed.
Availability and limitations
The website and guidance are provided on an as-available basis. We aim for accuracy but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access or that every instruction suits every hardware configuration. Any exclusion of warranty or limitation of responsibility applies only to the extent permitted by applicable law and does not remove rights that cannot lawfully be excluded. Software warranty terms are set out in its applicable licence.

These terms may be revised when website services change; the effective and update dates appear above. Privacy practices are explained separately in the Privacy Policy. Contact the maintainer with questions or a concern about website content.
